#63: Christian Lanng CEO of Tradeshift
“Entrepreneurship is all about grit. It is a marathon, not a sprint.”

“I see a lot of young people getting themselves burned out within the first year of being an entrepreneur. We’ve been doing this for 10 years now with Tradeshift, you know I’ve been doing startups since I was 19, so my whole life. I think in the early days we ran like there was no tomorrow and that’s great. There are a lot of startup blogs talking about having that approach. But we’ve got to be sustainable because most companies these days are going to take 10 to 15 years to be built and scale. So pace yourself for that time and not just the twelve months.”
